Urban Björn (main speaker) is an economist with extensive leadership experience in both the finance sector, primarily in Investment Banking, and in HR, where his focus has been on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (DEI) – and how to make it work in practice. In 2018, he served as Head of D&I at Swedbank Group, conducting workshops with 55 management teams and over 1,000 leaders.
Over the past four years, Urban has helped more than 70 companies take concrete steps to realize the full business potential of equality, diversity, and inclusion. He has trained over 3,000 leaders in Inclusive Leadership. Urban also leads Diversity & Inclusion initiatives within Executive HUB’s Advisory Board and is the founder of Diversity Charter Sweden in Gothenburg. Additionally, he mentors emerging talent through the nonprofit organization Öppet Hus and is part of the Oxy Group consultancy, which energizes organizations.
